The Castelli Milano Wabi Sabi series cover designs with their golden crafted imperfections, are based on the Japanese aesthetic that finds beauty in things imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. Wabi Sabi refers to an awareness of the transient nature of earthly things and  a corresponding pleasure in the things that bear the mark of this impermanence.

These are hard cover journals and feature 191 numbered and ruled ivory pages , front index, black flyleaves, inner accordion pocket, satin bookmark, elastic closure and an elastic pen loop. The paper is 90 gms with gold leaf edges, is FSC Certified and is fountain pen friendly. The internal pages are stack-folded to prevent fall out and the cover seams are bevel-shaved for a slim profile book.
