The 1670 inks celebrate the year in which Jacques HERBIN was founded in the heart of Paris, originally to market sealing wax and later writing ink. Intense colours, the 1670 inks are illuminated with golden glitter.

Bleu Ocean ink is a very deep and dense color. It is a majestic blue combined with a golden glitter sparking of a million lights.  This ink is a tribute to the colour of the sea dear to the navigator, Herbin, during his various ocean going trips.

Ink in the bottles have been adjusted, to the best of our ability, to convey their appearance on paper. Please refer to ink swatches for the best representation of their colour.
