RKR Stationery & Artssentials only sells products within Canada, excluding Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, and does not ship outside of Canada. Shipping and Handling may not be available in all areas.
Out of city orders will be shipped using Canada Post.
We ship five days a week, Monday through Friday. We will do our best to ship out orders within 1 – 2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email with your tracking number, if available.
In-Store or Curb Side Pickup Option
To avoid any shipping or delivery charges, or if you would like to pick up your order at our store, we offer in-store and curb side pickup options so that you can pick up your order at your convenience.
Once you receive a confirmation that your order is ready for pickup, we recommend that you call us ahead of time to be sure that we are open. Please make sure to bring your order confirmation and a piece of picture ID with you.
Delivery Option within The City of Calgary
We offer next day delivery service within The City of Calgary limits, Monday through Friday. Orders received on the weekend will be packaged and delivered on the following Tuesday. Deliveries can only be made to a street address location. If no one answers the doorbell or our phone call, we will leave the package by your front door and it will be considered delivered at this point. Any loss or damage that occurs to the package will be at the purchaser’s risk. We will also send you an email, including a picture, so you know the package has been delivered and where it was left so you can easily find it when you get home.
If you are unsatisfied with the product you received for any reason, please contact us by email within 7 days after receiving your item to request an authorization for a return. To be eligible for a full refund, your item must be unused and with all original packaging (such as pen case, warranty papers, cartridges, converters, gift box, etc.) and in the same condition that you received it (no damage to the nib or other parts of the pen). Fountain pens must be un-inked (ink cannot be drawn through the converter) or they will be ineligible for any type or refund or exchange.
All items purchased with discounted or sale pricing are considered a Final Sale and are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request. All shipping costs, including original and return shipping costs, are the responsibility of the purchaser and will not be refunded under any circumstances.
If your refund is approved, the credit will be processed against the original method of payment within 3 – 5 business days.
If you are shipping an item over $75, we highly recommend that you purchase shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Fountain Pen Ink
Fountain pen ink purchases, both bottles and cartridges, are considered a final sale. Ink ordered between November 1 through to March 31 are shipped at the purchaser’s risk. RKR Stationery & Artssentials will not be responsible for damage caused by the cold weather. At our discretion, we may hold back shipping ink orders due to the extreme cold weather.
We do not provide refunds or exchanges for items that become damaged from misuse or use over time.
If your receive your purchase and it is damaged, it must be reported to our office and Canada Post within 24 hours of being received. Please take clear photos of the product and packaging and email the images to us. You must keep all packaging materials, boxes, paper, bubble wrap etc. to avoid having your damage claim denied. We will use this information to submit a damages claim with Canada Post.
